An excellent opportunity has become available to acquire a long-established restaurant and bar situated directly on the stunning Playa de la Fossa in Calpe, one of the Costa Blanca’s most popular and attractive coastal destinations.
This well-positioned business enjoys direct access to the promenade and beach area, offering exceptional visibility and a highly desirable setting for both passing trade and destination customers. The restaurant attracts an international clientele, benefiting from Calpe’s strong tourist market as well as the established local and expatriate community.
The premises are modern, welcoming and well-presented, with a great outside bar and covered patio area that create an ideal setting for relaxed beachside dining, drinks, cocktails and social gatherings. The separate inside restaurant offers approximately 44 internal covers, while the outside area provides approximately 45 additional covers, giving the business excellent seating capacity across both indoor and outdoor trading areas.
The interior restaurant is supported by a fully fitted commercial kitchen, allowing the new owner to continue the current food operation or adapt the concept to suit their own style. The premises also benefit from air-conditioning and heating, making the venue suitable for year-round operation.
The current concept offers a fusion of Mediterranean and Moroccan-inspired cuisine, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and lovingly prepared dishes. The menu changes with the seasons, allowing the business to maintain freshness, quality and variety while continuing to appeal to both repeat customers and holiday visitors.
The main trading period is from May to September, when Calpe experiences strong tourist activity and high footfall along the beach and promenade. However, a number of bars and restaurants in the area remain open throughout the year, including this business, providing the opportunity to serve both seasonal visitors and year-round residents.
A particularly attractive feature of this opportunity is the low overhead structure, with rent currently at only €1,700 per month for such a prime beachfront location. This provides an incoming operator with a strong platform from which to continue trading and develop the business further.
The business would be ideal for a hands-on owner-operator, hospitality couple, chef-led buyer or experienced restaurateur looking for a well-located, established restaurant and bar in one of Calpe’s most desirable beach areas. There is also further potential to expand the offering through themed evenings, live entertainment, cocktails, events, group bookings, private functions, takeaway options and enhanced marketing to the international tourist and resident market.
The owners are relocating and have priced the business to sell, creating an attractive opportunity for a serious buyer seeking a ready-to-operate beachfront restaurant and bar on the Costa Blanca.
