The successful Bed and Breakfast is situated in Pinos Del Valle, a typical traditional whitewashed village in the Lecrin Valley (the Valley of Happiness) and is an authentic 250 year old townhouse. Recently renovated and tastefully decorated to a very high standard it’s kept most of the original features to bring a taste of Spain indoors.
Seated on a typically Spanish square in the top of the village and just around the corner from the historical local church it’s just a walk to everything you could need. This includes all amenities such as a bank, bakery, shops, pharmacy, medical centre and of course the famous local bar. The bar has a stunning terrace overlooking the valley where you can get a cold drink and tapas to finish off your day. There is public parking on the square outside the property.
The area is known for its outdoor activities including walking/hiking, bike riding, stunning lakes to surf on and of course skiing in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada is only 1hr away. The owners do not only welcome guests travelling through but also welcome groups on a regular basis. Pinos Del Valle is one of the most popular villages in the valley and lays between the Costa Tropical with it’s beautiful beaches and the historical town of Granada with the famous Alhambra Palace!
All the rooms and public areas are very comfortable and cosy with a Moroccan and Mediterranean feel. The B&B has 6 rooms for guests, 4 double rooms, 1 single room and a large family room, all with large en-suite bathrooms. The room on the ground floor has disabled access and facilities.
All rooms have energy saving aircon/heating units making them economic to run.
On the ground floor is a spacious public area, cosy and beautiful with an original open fire for the winter nights. There’s an atmospheric Moroccan patio which is not just used for breakfast but is also comfortable for dinners, supper clubs and events in the evening. This gives the owners extra income on a regular basis.
In the courtyard is a fantastic large heated plunge pool to cool down on the hot summer days, which fits 10 people easily.
Over the whole footprint of the house is a large roof terrace with seating areas for the guests and beautiful panoramic views over the Valley, The Sierra Nevada and the Alpujarras. This makes it perfect for gatherings and barbecues with friends and guests alike.
The owner’s accommodation consists of a sitting room with semi-separate office space and beautiful original fire surround with wood burner and a very large bright and airy bedroom / dressing room en-suite. Downstairs is a large private kitchen and utility room.
There is a possibility to acquire a plot of approximately 1500sqm of land with the purchase of this property (to be negotiated separately)
The house, including terraces is 395 m2.
There is a good WiFi connection throughout the whole house and outside space.
There is room for growing the business in opening the tastefully decorated dining room and court yard into a bar/café or restaurant.
